ridiculous.

so, it's been a little over a year since my last post, and i'm showing at the underground again tonite. apparently things do happen in cycles. here's a collage from 2004 or so. the text is from an alcoholics anonymous book i found at the salvation army. the images are from wherever i found them. i printed it onto transparency film and offset the ink from the white paper with sixteenth inch plexiglass. seven shadowboxes, three digital prints. until we meet again....

horror collage.

here's the collage for the last redwood city underground show. it was a horror theme, and i'd had this started about eight years ago. the gas mask doctor, the lady spread out on the ground, and all of the india ink splattered on the plywood had been put on, and it got buried under the house. andy helped me unearth it, and it just looked like it was meant to be. one of the ladies who worked there really liked it. i kept trying to give it to her, but she wouldn't take it. so i gave it to paula, instead. because, you know, she's awesome....

paint on grip tape on wood on wall


i got this deck on my honeymoon, and i rode it for a long time. one of the only ones i retired before death in remembrance of my epic trek to find the only skateshop in edinburgh. the graphic on the back is pretty cool, but i guess you'd have to cruise over to check it out. i painted this on the floor of the kitchen after spray painting the bad 70's backround in the yard. nico sat around for a few minutes before requesting paint of his own. i found a three foot wide sheet and let him have at it. he painted one of my favorite characters ever. it's pretty bad ass.....
